What is love? One of the most frequently asked questions and has thousands of answers. Nobody can really define it. Many people have tried to describe it based on their feelings or experiences, but we can say that: Love is not a feeling. Love is a decision we make. Love of God may mean either love of God or love by god. Respect for God (theo) is associated with the ideas of prayer and devotion to Heaven. The word theophilia means the love or affection of God, and theophilos means a friend of God, originally in the sense of being loved by God or loved by the gods; but it is often understood today in the sense of showing love for God. The Greek term agape refers both to the respect that human beings have for God and to the love that God has for him.
